- Matkaa Helsingin keskustasta Haltian luontokeskukseen on noin 33 kilometriä, Kattilaan noin 39 kilometriä.
- Ruuhkaisinta on viikonloppuisin touko-lokakuussa, arkisin on yleensä hyvin tilaa.
- Luvatonta tienvarsipysäköintiä valvotaan.
- Arvoesineitä ei tule jättää autoon retken ajaksi.
