Vandring

Lauhanvuori National Park is ideal for day trips and overnight excursions alike. On the circle trails of different lengths, you can take in the diverse nature and main attractions of the National Park. These trails that mainly lead through pine forests on the slopes of Lauhanvuori make for easy walking.

  • While there are some height differences on the trails, the climbs are gentle.
  • Mires can be crossed along duckboards.
  • If you would like to walk both Terassikierros and Pirunkierros trails, take the connecting trail through Peräkorpi.
  • A longer hiking trail goes through the National Park. The sections outside the National Park’s borders are maintained by the local authorities. The length of this trail is around 30 kilometres.
  • There is no winter maintenance on the hiking trails. In winter, some of the hiking trails are used for ski tracks. Walking on the ski tracks is not allowed.
  • There is an accessible trail to Lake Spitaalijärvi.
