Aurantola B&B rooms

The Bed & Breakfast rooms are located upstairs in the main building. There are 5 rooms, each suitable for 2 people. All our rooms include a Finnish breakfast. They have a shared lounge area with a TV, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and free wifi. Our rooms are small and cozy, and to many, the rooms remind them of their grandma’s attic rooms. Three out of five rooms have a view to the lake. The main building was built in 1901. It was renovated in the end of 1970’s. There are 2 rooms with single beds (2x80cm wide) and 3 rooms with double beds (160cm wide). The rooms are 11m2 in area. Pets are not allowed in the B&B rooms. AuroraHut Aurantola

The AuroraHut is located on the Lake Karijärvi, just a few hundred mettres from the main building of Aurantola near Kouvola. Guests have access to a camp fire place. The AuroraHut is very eco-friendly. The heating system uses renewable fuel and electricity is generated by solar and biofuel cells.

Aurantola sauna caravan

The sauna caravan is located in its own privacy right on the shore of Lake Karijärvi. The caravan has large landscape windows towards the lake and its own pier from which you can go swimming. In addition to the sauna, the caravan has a double bed, an atmospheric fireplace and a kitchen. The sauna has a wood-burning stove and a water tank for heating water. For the sauna, water is carried from the lake. Clean drinking water comes from the kitchen tap. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, basin, tap, stove and kettle. There is a French press for making coffee, a saucepan, a frying pan, a cutting board, knives, a frying pan, BBQ tongs, sausage sticks, biodegradable disposable dishes and detergents. The sauna also has biodegradable detergents. Next to the sauna caravan there is a lean-to with a barbecue area in front of it. The price includes sheets and towels as well as final cleaning. Breakfast can be ordered separately.

Aurantola lakeside cottages

Aurantola’s cosy cottages are situated in a parklike grove of birch trees by the lake, 500 m from the main building. The ten cottages share the sunny and sandy beach which is about 100 metres from the cottages. Gradually deepening waters make it perfect for all ages. The beach also has a beach volleyball court and rowing boats which are free to use. Nearby, there is a nice barbecue hut, also shared by the cottages. The cottages were built in the mid 1980’s. Three cottages have been renovated in the years 2012, 2019, 2020. There are 2 cottages for 2 people (25m2) and 8 cottages for 6 people (50m2). Equipment: - Sauna and shower - Toilet - Fridge - Stove and microwave oven - Coffee maker and kettle - Dishes and cutlery - Fire place and TV - Sleeping area upstairs with mattresses, blankets and pillows - Pull out sofa bed downstairs - Outside: picnic table and charcoal grill
