Visitor Centres and Nature Centres
Visitor and nature centres are great places to visit before setting off on an
excursion. Visitors can get information on their destination and rest before
setting off on a hike. Intriguing exhibitions and impressive AV presentations
bring Finland’s most spectacular sights to visitors’ fingertips.
Nature trails, which are situated near visitor and nature centres, are
definitely worthwhile destinations. Many visitor and nature centres places where
visitors can eat packed lunches and rest between excursions. There are also
cafes / restaurants in some centres.
If you are arriving with a group we ask that you contact
us in advance to hear about different services and activities for your group,
such as a theme tour.
Customer Service Points
Customer service points provide up-to-date information on hiking destinations
and sights and services offered there. You can get more detailed information on
these destinations from brochures and publications sold at customer service
points. Or buy fishing permits and maps and reserve rental cabins there.
There is no entrance fee for most visitor and nature centres or any customer
service points. Opening hours tend to change by season, Contact information and
