Many Different Kinds of Destinations

Outdoors.fi website introduces a large number of hiking destinations, all of them located on state-owned land in Finland. It will cover, when completed, the following kinds of destinations.

National Parks are natural sights open to all visitors. They are ideal for recreation and enjoying the peace in the scenic landscape.
• State-owned
hiking areas are versatile areas which are meant for hiking and for other recreational use.
• Wilderness areas, which are located in Northern Lapland, are ideal for experienced hikers who enjoy the peace of the wilderness, and like to find their own paths.
