New Online Shop Offers National Park and Hiking Area Products

– profits will directly benefit areas

Metsähallitus has opened a new online shop, which has a broad selection of national park and hiking area related products. The profits of all the online shop’s sales will be used directly for the care and management of natural features and services in these areas. The online shop can be found at kauppa.luontoon.fi.

The online shop opened with a starting assortment of almost 300 products, including clothes, mugs, backpacks and pins carrying national park or hiking area emblems, as well as, a broad selection of hiking maps and guide books. Metsähallitus will channel proceeds of online shop sales to each national park and hiking area.

kauppa.luontoon.fiThe online shop can be navigated in Finnish, Swedish or English. Products can be shipped to any country in the world. In Finland purchases can be paid for with the most common online bank services. Within Finland cash-on-delivery orders are also possible. For international orders we accept payment by all major credit cards.

The new online shop is closely linked to Metsähallitus’ outdoors.fi web service, which provides a wide array of up-to-date information on national parks and hiking areas, as well as, the hiking services they have to offer.

T.M. Palojoki Oy / SERIPA is a sub-supplier for Metsähallitus and as such answers for the construction of the online shop as well as the assortment of products sold there.
